Be Good To Your Enemies

Be Good To Your Enemies
Let me tell you about a little boy named Yoi. He was a good boy. He was good in his studies, obedient to his parents and kind to everyone. He also more intelligent than many other boy in his class. No wonder many people loved him.
Now there was another boy named Riko who studied in the same class as Yoi. Unlike Yoi, he was not good at studies and always liked to play during school hours. He misbehaved with his parents, bullied his classmates and even ill-treated Yoi.
On his birthday, Yoi got a nice pen as gift from his parents. It was a very beautiful pen and it could help one write very fast. When Riko saw it, he was very jealous of Yoi. He asked Yoi.
“Hey where did you get that? Did you buy it?”
“My parents gave it as a birthday gift to me,” replied Yoi.
Riko was overhelmed with anger and jealousy. He decided to steal Yoi’s pen. During the break time, when everyone had gone out from the class, Riko opened Yoi’s bag and took out his pen. Then he hid it inside his bag and went out.
When Yoi came back and could not find his pen, he informed his class teacher about it. There was a hunt for the missing pen and the class teacher ordered the class monitor to search the bag of every child inside the class. The missing pen was soon find in Riko’s bag. The furious teacher asked the guilty boy.
“Now Riko, what do you have to say about it?”
Riko was in tears. He had nothing to say.
When Yoi saw Riko cry, he took pity on the boy. He asked his class teacher not to take any action againts Riko because his pen was found.

This opened Riko’s eyes. He could now see what a good boy Yoi was. He asked for forgiveness from his teacher and Yoi. From that day, he became friends with Yoi and gradually changed himself to be as good as Yoi. Everyone began to love Riko, and Yoi was proud of his new friend.
